My Great Dane puppy keeps dying or something...HELP!!?

Every 10 minutes or so, she starts breathing heavily and then her whole body stiffens up and she stops breathing, moving, everything...she just 'dies'. My mom has been giving her mouth to mouth and it brings her back, but she just keeps doing it. I think she is having some sort of seizure or something and we were just going to let her go through with the whole thing to see if it was, but it's really hard to just watch her stay frozen up in some sort of coma. It's terrible and we don't want to lose her. She is only about one day old and she won't hardly even take milk from her mommy. We've read up on it and found something about it, it said to give her a few drops of corn syrup and some pedialyte. We've done that and it seems to be helping some, but she just recently did it again. Is she going to make it? Is there anything else that I can do to help her? It's the craziest thing that I've ever seen!!! Our veterinarian won't answer his phone, and the other place that we called said that they've never heard of such a thing. Has anyone else experienced this with any of their puppies?
