Are there Asian women out there who, on purpose, refuse to date Asian men?

I sometimes wonder if a lot of Asian women here in the States consciously don't date Asian men. I know that not all Asian girls who date Caucasian men are this way (some just fell in love with a guy who was White), but I also see a lot of Asian girls who seem to actively hate Asian guys and do their best to stay away from them and never bother to give them a chance. Is my perception of the situation wrong? Sometimes I really wonder...I've heard a few of my Asian female friends say they're not into Asian guys...and then they settled for the nerdiest, boring White guy just because he was White. On the other hand, I know Asian girls who have dated all sorts of guys. Still, I sometimes wonder when I see an Asian girl with a White guy if she's only dating him bc she, at her core, is not very happy with her own identity (does not like being Asian herself bc she thinks it's embaring, that Asians are ugly, etc.)...
