Hi my name isFrancisco Pradilla Ortiz. I paint historical scenes while using realism I was born in Villanueva de G�llego, near Zaragoza in Aragon. In eighteen seventy eight I submitted my painting (Juana la Loca) to the National Exhibition in Spain and was awarded the Medal of Honor. In 1881 I became the Director of the Spanish Arts Academy in Rome. My total output is well over 1,000 paintings showing his interest in a variety of subjects and styles.I died in Madrid in 1921 at the age of 73.
